Facility Dynamite Dressage Stables is the only facility in the Scottsdale area that is home to only dressage horses. The focus of our training shines throughout the property with the way it is managed and the way the equine athletes are cared for. Scottsdale is a community where the sport of dressage is very small compared to other equine disciplines. The need for a facility dedicated to this sport was a necessity, so the facility opened its doors in 1999. Please let us guide you on this tour of our facility to confirm all the reasons why you want this to be your equine partners new home The Covered Arena The covered arena at Dynamite Dressage stables is definitely our highlight. The arena is open to the beautiful views of the McDowell Mountain range giving you a serene atmosphere to train your horse in. We take great pride in our arena footing, which is maintained with the greatest detail. The arena is irrigated daily, and groomed two times per day creating evenness and shock absorbency that is unmatched locally. You will feel the confidence in your horse’ footfall every stride of your ride, allowing you to focus on other details of training. The following are other amenities that add to the ease and comfort of your training program: a wall of mirrors, misting system, satellite music, microphone system for lessons, and seats for viewing. Main Barn The main barn has a fabulous feeling, beginning with the e-vap coolers, misting system, fly control, wide aisles, and high ceilings that allow your horse to live better than comfortable during our Hot Arizona summer months. There are 21 12x12 stalls, and 2 larger. Every stall has rubber mats, an electric water that is cleaned daily, a removable grain bucket that is scrubbed daily, and a window and/or a stall gate. The stalls are cleaned twice per day, and are power washed and disinfected monthly. Grooming We offer two groomstalls, where each horse has a cabinet for all his individual grooming needs. The area allows grooming and tack cleaning to be enjoyable and easy because of its openness. The groomstall has rubber flooring, safety release crossties, and a hot & cold running utility sink. Tackrooom The tackroom at the farm is secured under the watchful eye of our 24hr. surveillance cameras and alarm system. It is clean, cool, and dry to keep all your leather goods in excellent condition.
